Family Story Time @ EAM

The children at EAM learned about THE SEA. Librarian, Elizabeth Varela, showed the children an ocean shell and let the children hear the sound of the ocean.

The children heard stories about sea creatures and decorated paper seahorses.

Teens Celebrate Hispanic Month @ EAM

National Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 to October 15. Americans commemorate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Teens at EAM celebrated Hispanic Month by making a Dia De Los Muertos Altar. Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican celebration—a day to celebrate, remember and prepare special foods in honor of those who have departed.
