Fun @ EAM with Teens




Bella Fusion, an American Tribal/Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Company in El Paso, Tx. donated their expertise at the Esperanza Acosta Library. Dancers included Bonnie, Carlisa, Darlina, Jessica, Laila, Reika, Rosie, Mary, Nikki and Clarissa. They aspire to bring this ancient dance into a modernized art. They a are non-competitive troup who want to share the love of this dance. Teen enjoyed their performance, games and crafts at the annual Christmas Teen Party.

Poetry Fun @ EAM


Come to EAM for Poetry Fun with Judy Vasquez
Judy is a retired professor from the University of Texas at El Paso.
She writes for Sin Fronteras: Writers Without Borders, Border Senses, Rio Grande Review, Chrysalis and websites: El Boricua Newsletter and Sofrito For Your Soul. Some of her work has been published by Alfred A. Knopf/Random House. Under her direction participants will experience writing from several prompts followed by individual readings and a group reading performance.
