Another fantastic SRC has ended.  At EAM 131 teens registered and 22 teens completed the SRC program by reading at least eight books. Total books read by teens were 388 and 120 hours were read by EAM teens.  The teens had a wonderful time dancing and singing.  They are ready for next year!

Teens created films at Esperanza Acosta Moreno with Henry, poet and filmmaker

On Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 4:30-6:30 pm teens created videos with Henry, poet and filmmaker.  A special thanks to him from EAM's Teen SRC and Krystal a fellow poet and slammaster.

Filmmaking Fun, Friends, and Films?

Henry demonstrated the process to tell a story with pictures and sound to the teens at Teen SRC at Esperanza Acosta Moreno Thursday, June 27, 2013.  He showed examples of films that he created with and without sound.  Henry explained script writing, how to plan, shoot and edit films. The next filmmaking session will be July 11, 2013 at Esperanza Acosta Moreno library at 12480 Pebble Hills from 4:30-6:30pm.  Come and enjoy teen created films.
