Snapology (Minecraft Edition)

SNAPOLOGY!!! Travel to the Nether with Snapology, but watch out for those creepers! Come join us as we bring Minecraft to life using LEGO bricks. Create your own world, including animals, creepers, and your very own Minecraft character.

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party!

Saturday, 9 June 2018 from 2PM - 4PM

What better way to kick-off Summer vacation than a party?! Come join us on Saturday, 9 June 2018 for our Summer Reading Club Kick-Off Party. The Whataburger Mascot, Whataguy, will make a special appearance along with musical performances by Ceiba. 

Lastly, this is your opportunity to register for the Summer Reading Club. The Summer Reading Club is a library program where you register with your name, age, and phone number to accomplish the goal of reading just 8 books or 8 hours between now and August 4th, 2018. Once you accomplish that goal, turn in your reading log to retrieve your reading certificate and a small prize. Easy, right?! This year, the City of El Paso Public Library has set an overall goal for the public to read 50,000 books this summer, so sign up and participate to apart of this wonderful literacy initiative.

Children's Kingdom Learning Center will be sponsoring their annual free Summer meal program for children 18 and under, located at our library branch. All meals are provided at no cost for children 18 and under every Monday thru Thursday.

Come Join the Fun of the Summer Reading Club!

All it takes is 3 simple steps:

Register.

Set your own goal.

Accomplish your goal.

Once you accomplish your goal, come in to the branch and let us know so that we can give you your certificate of completion.

 

Children (ages 4-11): you have the chance to win a brand new bike which will be raffled on Saturday, 23 July 2016 during our end of summer party. 

Teens (ages 12 - 19): for the teen with the most amount of books read by the closing on Monday, 1 August 2016, you could win a gift card from the coffee shop with the famous green logo.
